San Lucas Home Remodel

This family loved their neighborhood and schools, but their home was far too small for their needs. Choosing to remodel rather than go through the hassle of selling and buying new, they approached us. This whole home remodel turned their perfect location into the home of their dreams. An addition added almost 1,500 sq/ft of space and included a new kitchen with full basement below. The family asked that any addition only enhance the look of the home so something more than a box was needed. During demolition, bricks taken from exterior removals were saved and used to patch in the new addition, ensuring a seamless visual flow between new and old spaces. The new screen porch incorporates stately columns to give it presence and is a welcoming entry to the new great room. Nearby is the new kitchen, bathed in sunlight and featuring white cabinets and bright paint. Truly timeless, this project was completed in 2005 and looks as chic today as it did then. Double islands and ovens and a gas cooktop make entertaining easier than ever. The new homes’ design flows seamlessly, with an easy transition between public and private spaces and enough bedrooms to easily accommodate family members and guests alike. Throughout the home, windows were replaced and expanded with transoms, improving both the efficiency and the aesthetics of the home.
